The
Qur'an speaks of Thamud and the 'Aad were sent to their prophet and the prophet
Hud Salih. Many
explanations about the Koran is, both in terms of capability and kekuatanmereka,
and iniquity and their disobedience to God and His Prophet. God
ultimately destroy them with earthquakes and hurricanes are very cold again
fast. This
is illustrated by Al-Haaqqa verses 4-7:
كَذَّبَتْ
ثَمُودُ وَعَادٌ بِالْقَارِعَةِ ﴿٤﴾ فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِالطَّاغِيَةِ ﴿٥﴾

أَيَّامٍ حُسُومًا فَتَرَى الْقَوْمَ فِيهَا صَرْعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ
نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ ﴿٧﴾
Thamud and 'Aad denied the Striking Calamity. (4) So as
for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast]. (5) And as for'
Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind. (6) Which God
imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would
see the people as if the fallen Therein they were hollow trunks of palm trees.

Elsewhere, Al-Quran explains that the 'ad has a
remarkable ability that they have built a city of Iram, with high masts that
have not been built in another country.
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ ﴿٦﴾ إِرَمَ ذَاتِ الْعِمَادِ ﴿٧﴾ الَّتِي لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِي الْبِلَادِ ﴿٨﴾ وَثَمُودَ الَّذِينَ جَابُوا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِ ﴿٩﴾
Have you not Considered how your Lord dealt with 'Aad -
(6). [With]
Iram - who had Lofty pillars. (7) The likes of Whom had never been created in
the land? (8) And [with] Thamud, WHO carved out the rocks in the valley? (9)
There is no doubting the Quran this
information. But
little by little evidence revealed , when information from the Quran were
combined with the results of archaeological research. At
this stage it is found is the archaeological evidence of the occurrence of
earthquakes and hurricanes, as described in the Quran. That

Of

Other
archaeological evidence about the city of Iram is the result of a desert
expedition Nicholas Clapp in South Arabia in 1992. The city of Iram by
narrations is a city built by Shaddad ibn 'Ud, a very beautiful city when it
was named Ubhur. But

found evidence of an ancient road to Iram (Ubhur) of an explorer. Then,
thanks to the help of two other experts, they are Juris Zarin from Missouri
State University Southwestern, and the British explorer, Sir Ranulph Fiennes,
they are trying to find the lost city together lawyer George Hedges.
They
use the services of the Challenger space shuttle imaging radar satellite system
(SIR) to see parts bring the Arabian desert, allegedly as a sinking city was
hit by an avalanche. To
be sure, they also asked the French satellite services, which use an optical
sensing system. The
results they found the digital image in the form of a pale white line that
marks the hundreds of kilometers abandoned caravan route, some are under a pile
of sand that has accumulated over the centuries, to reach a height of 183
meters.
Based
on these data Nicholas Clapp and his colleagues examined the soil and search
indent at the end of 1991. In February 1992, they found an octagonal building
with walls and towers high, reaching about nine meters. And
what is meant by the Quran that "[With] Iram - who had Lofty
pillars." (Al-Fajr: 7).

We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within Themselves until it Becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness? (Al-Fushilat : 53)
